The Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, founded with full canonical approval by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1970, has established a Priory of its order on Bolton Road in Veneta, and has assigned four of its Priests to staff it. Father Daniel Cooper - SSPX is the Prior and also has charge of the Academy. Ordained in Econe, Switzerland in 1987 by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, he has supported the Society's missions in Kenner and Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Dickinson, Texas; Redford, Michigan; and most recently in Los Gatos, California. Father Christopher Hunter - SSPX was ordained in Oyster Bay Cove, NY by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1982. He has served the Society's missions in Texas, Kansas, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii. Father Christopher Brandler - SSPX was ordained in Ridgefield, Connecticut in 1985 by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. He has served the Society's seminaries in Econe, Switzerland; Zaitzkofen, Germany; and recently the mission in Los Gatos, California. Father Jonathan Loop - SSPX. was ordained in Winona, Minnesota in 2011 by Bishop Bernard Fellay.  A convert from Protestantism, St. Thomas Becket is his first official posting in service of the Church and the SSPX. He will be responsible for the Portland, OR Mission, as well as other duties to which he will be assigned by Fr.
